Exciting news on the way.. as soon as I get the go ahead I have some fun stuff to share!

Because it's near next to impossible for me to post without pictures, here are a few from today's "failed" session.  I had two very stubborn subjects... a sad teething girl and a very insistent boy.

This first picture totally cracks me up. Jordan is trying to be my "helper" he's telling Kinley that she needs to look at the camera ;)

This final picture, Jordan is showing me how old he is. The only way he can figure out how to hold up three fingers is to make the "tower,"  a little trick he came up with on his own.

Taste the Rainbow

Bet you didn't know you could find a rainbow in our freezing February weather did you? Trust me, you can.

My friend Becky and I took her son out for a photo assignment yesterday afternoon.   I know you're all wondering, how on earth do you keep a 2-year old occupied in freezing cold weather? I'll tell you... stick him in an empty parking lot with a bag of skittles and a multi colored umbrella.  He'll give you exactly two and a half minutes of perfect camera time, if you're lucky.. you might even find him giving you a smile or two :)

Oh and just so you can see where M got all his good looks from, here's one of my gorgeous friend Becky too ;)

I'll admit it, I"m a sucker for Valentines day. I love all things red, and pink:) Some of my favorite memories in grade school include the big v-day parties where we all handed out valentines, waiting to see which cute boy snuck the extra special valentine (or two) into the box. 

I hope my kids grow up loving cupid as much as I do. Even though I'm a big late, here is a bit of valentine love to all of you.. he does a good job of filling my love quota:)

Our new niece!

After a long and difficult adoption process, we are so excited to welcome into our family, little Danika Marie.   Weighing in at 7lbs 4 oz, she is a sweet blessing from Heaven.  I"m sure Steph and Tys would agree with me in saying "the wait was well worth it!"
